NHKラジオのビジネス英会話をWebで聴くことができるので，4月から続けて聴いています。10月の最初のテーマはManaging Up「上司を管理する」がテーマでした。あれこれ仕事を続けていると，このビニエットで出てきた，次の台詞が大切なんだなと感じる機会が多くあります。
自分の仕事の位置付けや自分のやりたい仕事をどのように実現するか? ということを考えるときに，身近な上司という存在はどうしても考えないと行けないことですし，上司によってずいぶんと助けられる場面が多くありました。Mutualという意識は大切ですし，自分の上司の上司は誰か? ということやチームワークということも大切でしょう。もちろん，上司に(間接的に）どのように影響をさせていくのか? ということを考えることも大切だと思います。
