The Voice of EJ December 2006

I finished this month's EJ, December 2006 issue. I didn't check this issue while I was abroad, I studied this issue about half month. So I studied it rapidly and some parts of this issue I didn't study deeply, but this issue was interesting. One of the parts I was interesed in are the comment by Kazuo Ishiguro about philosphical theme in contemporary novels. And religious culture in Japanese, which is discussed in Talking Japan, is also interesting. I didn't know the controversy about Chiristmas and PC attitude in the U.S. I wonder if this controversy will happen in Japan. Considering current situation about Japanese Christmas and their attitude about religion, I don't think this will happen in near future.

I'll have to prepare for this kind of serious English thought and essey in new English class from January. By studying EJ, I can improve to understand natural English. But I also think I should improve to understand and discuss serious theme like this. By studying the Chigasaki method series will improve my English, so I consider which method I'll study from March. I don't have to study one series for a long time. I can change. Studying one series for one year, and next one year I'll study another seriese. and the next one year, I can study the first serise or another series. Now I think I study what I want to try for each situation.
